Nadcap Recognition for Industry Commitment to Quality

At the last Nadcap meeting in San Diego in February 2012, several individuals were recognized for their commitment to aerospace special processes and product quality through their involvement in Nadcap.

Three Nadcap subscriber representatives were given the Outgoing Chairperson Award in recognition of their services to the following Nadcap Task Groups:

  • Alessandra D’Ambrosia-Furman of Cessna Aircraft Company for her work as Chairperson of the Sealants Task Group
  • Doug Matson of The Boeing Company for his work as Chairperson of the Heat Treating Task Group
  • Dewey Whittaker of Honeywell Aerospace for his work as Chairperson of the Electronics Task Group

Recognition certificates were also awarded to the following Nadcap subscribers and suppliers in response to their dedication to the program:

  • Tom Murphy of Sikorsky Aircraft in recognition of his outstanding contribution for Heat Treating Task Group support and involvement
  • Gary White of Orbit Industries in recognition of his tireless efforts supporting the Non-Destructive Testing Task Group and Supplier Support Committee
  • Mike Bemis of Goodrich Corporation and Andreas Mastorakis of GE Aviation in recognition of their outstanding contribution for managing the Composite Group’s third Inter-Laboratory Proficiency Testing (IPT) program
  • Lance Loeks of the Boeing Company in recognition of his outstanding support and leadership in the Composites, Non Metallic Materials Testing and Non Metallic Materials Manufacturing Task Groups
